was founded by former Social Security Judge Steven D. Slepian in 1978.
Although Steve Slepian no longer practices law, the firm continues to
represent claimants
throughout the State of Arizona on Social Security Disability
matters. Our firm can assist you in English and
Spanish and has speakers available to address support
groups and others involved in the disability process.

Eric Slepian received his bachelors degree in Business Administration from Pace University, Pleasantville, New York
in May, 1984 and graduated Albany Law School of Union
University, Albany, New York, in May, 1987.
Eric Slepian is a member in good standing of the
Arizona State
Bar; New York State Bar; and Connecticut State Bar. Eric
Slepian is admitted to practice before the United States District Court
for Arizona and the Eastern and
Southern District Courts for the State of New York. Eric
Slepian is a member of the Trial Lawyers for Public Justice; Arizona
Trial Lawyers Association; Maricopa State Bar; Advocates for the
Disabled; Multiple Sclerosis (where he is an advisor to the committee);
Workers Compensation CLE Committee; Lonzmon International; Arizona
Business Society Network; and Arizona Women Lawyer's Association.
Mr. Slepian has volunteered to the State Bar, Arizona modest means
project. He has lectured to the Arizona Institute for
Communications and Cognitive Disorder Support Groups; the Mental Health
Association of Arizona; the Arrowhead Cancer Center; the National
Multiple Sclerosis Society; Fibromyalgia Support Group; and
the Chronic Pain Support Groups. Mr. Slepian was on the Phoenix
College Advisory Board - Paralegal Program. He also spoke to
attorney groups regarding Social Security Disability and ERISA (Employee
Retirement Income Security Act: Long Term disability Disputes).
Prior to joining The Slepian
Law Office, Eric Slepian was a sole practitioner representing
individuals and corporations in State and Federal Courts and
in arbitration proceedings. He also tried several jury and
non-jury cases.
His legal experience includes construction litigation;
business and corporate law; real estate; financial planning;
wills and trusts; personal injury and other negligence actions
and Social Security disability law. He authored newsletters
for the Law Office of Sheldon Feinstein on topics including
"Builders express and implied warranties in the construction
or renovation of homes" and "Municipal contractors legal
rights to payment for work performed pursuant to public
contracts".
Eric also serves as general counsel to Sinecure
Enterprises, Inc.

Steven Slepian is a former Social
Security Judge. Since 1978, he represented over 4500 claimants
before the Social Security Administration regarding
applications for DISABILITY BENEFITS.
His educational background includes New York Law
School
LL.B.; with Certificate of Award for Achieving highest grades
in Philosophical Jurisprudence, Legal Bibliography and
Writing, Equity.
Professionally, he has been a Member of the Arizona
State Bar and
the Maricopa County Bar since April 1977, State Bar of New
York since December 22, 1964, United States District Court for
the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York since March
1967, United States District Court for the District of Arizona
since May 1978.
Steve Slepian served as a Federal Administrative Law Judge, Office
of Hearings and Appeals, Social Security Administration,
United States Department of Health and Human Services, 1977;
Parking Violations Hearing Officer, New York City, Senior
Trial Attorney, Legal Aid Society, Criminal Division, New York
City, 1965-1967. He defended over 2000 people accused of
criminal conduct prior to his judgeship.
